AC Family Office: A Year in Review

Meaningful Growth & Strategic Progress

As we look ahead to the new year, we also take time to reflect on the year behind us. What stands out most is not simply progress, but the depth of the relationships that made it possible. 2025 was a meaningful year for our firm, defined by intentionality and the exceptional families we are privileged to serve.

We have built our firm through thoughtful client selection and a fierce commitment to our value proposition. That discipline has allowed us to cultivate a core base of families who value alignment, trust, and long-term partnership. Our focus has always been on serving well, listening carefully, and executing with precision. The strength of our firm is a direct reflection of the strength of these relationships.

As we move into 2026, we remain committed to delivering the highly personalized family office management experience that our clients expect and deserve. As we scale intentionally and responsibly, we expand thoughtfully in ways that enhance, rather than dilute, the level of service and care we provide. Preserving excellence in execution and maintaining a high-touch, relationship-driven approach continue to be central to who we are.

“The family office approach, guided by AC Family Office, has helped us step back and view wealth holistically, not just as assets to manage, but as a responsibility across generations. With new strategic perspectives, legal guidance, and investment leadership, we’ve been able to engage the second generation in meaningful conversations, align our priorities, and confidently navigate complex estate planning decisions. That has given us clarity and peace of mind for the generations ahead.”

What AC Family Clients Are Invested

Across the board, AC Family Office clients ended 2025 meaningfully overweight assets they directly control. On average, active private operating businesses represented more than 35% of total client balance sheets, many of which were the original sources of their wealth creation, alongside direct private real estate holdings (10%).

Outside of their core active investments, clients maintained diversified exposure across private equity and private real estate funds (12%), public equities (10%), and fixed income (5%). Beyond operating businesses, direct real estate, and core investment portfolios, many clients also maintain targeted allocations to direct private companies using Special Purpose Vehicles, venture capital, hedge funds, commodities, and select rare assets such as art, wine, aircraft, and collectible automobiles.

“ACFO combines comprehensive investment guidance with true family office – level coordination. They’ve help to improve our after-tax outcomes through fee-efficient strategies and successfully developed our trust and estate roadmap. They also delivered a single integrated view of my holistic balance sheet across custodians which empowers us to make informed decisions efficiently and with greater confidence.”

Client Engagement & Philanthropy

At AC Family Office, building strong relationships extends to everything we do. Throughout 2025, we hosted clients at private business roundtables and curated industry gatherings. We also participated in select events that reflect our shared values, commitment to stewardship, and dedication to community impact.

  • For the second year in a row, AC Family Office sponsored the 2025 National Cutting Horse Association Futurity in Fort Worth, TX.
  • Will skied in the 2025 Directors’ Invitational Ski Classic which helped raise funds for the U.S. Ski & Snowboard Foundation.
  • The firm hosted clients for a friendly sporting clays tournament benefiting the Clay Connections Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that breaks biases through outdoor recreation.
  • AC Family Office is proud to support the Baller Dream Foundation at the 2026 Celebrity Poker Tournament, a nonprofit that provides emotional and financial support to children and young adults battling cancer.
The Business Roundtable in Action
  • AC Family Office brings deep in-house experience, complemented by a team of distinguished external advisors, to support clients navigating the operation, growth, and – when appropriate – exit from their businesses. Collectively, this group brings more than 100 years of experience building, scaling, selling, and transitioning companies.
  • Today, we are actively engaged with dozens of clients’ operating companies in this advisory capacity. One of the most rewarding aspects of our work is facilitating collaboration between our clients and their shared insights as they manage periods of growth and transition. We value being part of these journeys and appreciate the meaningful impact we can make.

Alpha Capital helped transform us from a single founder liquidity event into an institutional-grade family office. They don’t just advise — they quarterback key aspect of my investments, taxes, estate planning, and major transactions — so nothing is reactive or fragmented. The clarity, execution, and confidence they’ve brought to our business and family office have been rewarding.  I’m genuinely grateful and excited about where we’re headed due to the confidence and strength ACFO has helped our family and firm develop.
